Qatar Airways include Hangzhou (HGH) China in its network by launching flights to Hangzhou from London Heathrow and Manchester on Friday 20th December 2013. Flights will operate 4 days per week from London Heathrow and Manchester via Doha. Hangzhou will now become the seventh gateway to China that Qatar Airways will operate in addition to Beijing (PEK), Shanghai (PVG), Guangzhou (CAN), Chongqing (CKG), Chengdu (CTU) and Hong Kong (HKG).

Hangzhou is also the provincial capital and centre of politics, economy and culture of Zhenjiang province.
