AIR Uganda, with headquarters in Kampala, started its maiden flight to Kilimanjaro on Wednesday. With the introduction of new flights the passengers who wish to fly to Tanzania will have more options.
The flights will operate between Entebbe and Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Previously, the Ugandan airline had stopped its services between these destinations five years ago.
With the reintroduction of new flights to Uganda the air connectivity in east Africa will get a boost.
Air Uganda will fly on this route four-times a week. The introduction of this flight will be of great benefit for the tourists and people of this region.
In addition to this, the airline is all set to launch other services from Entebbe to Mogadishu, three times a week from July.
As Tanzania is home to some admired tourists attractions the resumption of flights to Kilimanjaro will provide a boost to the tourism prospect of this region.
