Qatar airways will begin five-weekly direct flights between Doha and Edinburg from 28th May 2014. The carrier will deploy a Boeing 787 Dreamliner in a two-cabin configuration with 22 seats in Business class and 232 seats in Economy class.
Qatar will fly to Edinburg on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and will provide the only single stop option between Edinburg, Melbourne and Perth. Flight QR 027 departs Doha at 08:00, arriving into Edinburg at 13:15 on the same calendar day and on the return, QR 028 departs Edinburg at 14:15, and arriving at Doha at 22:40 on the same day. Edinburg will now become Qatar’s third UK destination. As Qatar provide services with five daily flights to London Heathrow and ten weekly to Manchester.
