One of the leading airlines in the world, British Airways is on the edge of including winter sunbeam to London City Airport by expanding its known flights to Ibiza and Palma right through the year.
The Balearic destinations attract a plethora of visitors in the summer season at this point of time. However, starting from the month of October, these Balearic hotspots will witness an influx of tourists in winter with two flights a week operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
The island of Ibiza will be given a lift as it lacks in having in single direct service to the UK during the winter season.
The two islands of Ibiza and Palma are renowned with the customers who seek recreation all the way through summer. These islands now provide a unique opportunity to those who are looking ahead to soak in the sun during the winter.
Luke Hayhoe, General Manager Commercial, BA CityFlyer said, “Passengers seeking leisure flying are a very crucial part of our business from London.”
