Emirates, one of the leading gulf carriers has announced to operate one-off flight from Glasgow Airport on 10th April 2014 to mark its 10 year of carrying Scotland’s passengers to Dubai and beyond.
On this date the Dubai-based carrier completes 10 years of services to the country.
The day is also significant for Scottish travellers as they will experience the superior A380 comfort in all classes.
Currently, the airline twice-daily flights between Dubai and Glasgow with B777-300ER aircrafts.
On April 10 Emirates flight EK027 will be served by larger A380 aircraft which will leave Dubai at 0750 and arrive into Glasgow at 1235. The A380 return flight EK028 will depart Glasgow at 1535 and arrive into Dubai at 0200.
With launch of a one-off flight with the superjumbo it is anticipated that the carrier may deploy A380 to serve its one or more existing flights on this route.
