The Doha-based carrier, Qatar Airways would be starting its daily Boeing 787 services two months from now. The airline plans to begin flights from Heathrow to Doha and it would be the first carrier to operate flights with a 787.
Qatar Airways’ Chief Executive Officer, Akbar Al Baker told Travel Weekly that he is looking forward to introduce the flight services in the month of September and would broadcast the launch once he gets the confirmed date of delivery of Boeing 787.
30 Qatar Airways 787 airliners were displayed at Farnborough Air Show that was held last week. But the Dreamliner made its way to the United States for the installation of Qatar’s in-flight entertainment system.
The airways plans to receive delivery of the airliner in the beginning of September and would start its services by month end.
