Doha-based Qatar Airways has announced that it would introduce scheduled flights to Gassim, which is the newest gateway in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Gassim will become the airline’s fifth destination in the country. The flight operations would come into effect from 7th January, 2013. Qatar Airways flights already serve various Saudi cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina.
The airline would operate four-flights-a-week to Gassim that would offer the passengers a wide choice of travel options to more than 100 destinations across the globe via its hub located at Doha.
Qatar Airways’ Akbar Al Baker said that he was extremely contented with the airline having boosted the services to Saudi Arabia, which is the market where the Doha-based carrier has expanded the frequency than the year gone by.
