British Airways has launched inaugural flights to Granada on Thursday. The passengers of inaugural flight were greeted with a Flamenco performance at the airport.
The flights will be operated four times a week from London City to Granada.
British airways the national carrier of the UK, is also boosting number of flights from London City to Malaga.
Granada with its wealth of cultural and historic attraction attracts people from the different corners of the world and these flights will provide direct connectivity to this destination from the UK.
The launch of the Granada flights will also complement airlines’ Malaga service which is highly popular among business as well as leisure tourists.
The airline will depart London at 9.10am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and arrive at 12.50pm local time.
On the return journey the flights will depart at 1.35pm and arriving London at 3.20pm.
The airline will also launch an extra flight during summers.
