Panama’s Copa Airlines is again expanding its presence in Las Vegas, a city it began flying to just over a year ago. Beginning on 13th December, Copa will add four weekly flights to Las Vegas to the once-daily schedule it already operates between Las Vegas and its hub at Panama City. With this expansion Copa would now have 11 weekly round trips between Las Vegas and Panama City.
According to Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority , lauding Copa’s expanded schedule and said that Copa has increased the number of non-stop flights to Las Vegas for a third time. The addition of these flights reiterates Copa’s confidence in Las Vegas as a travel destination and further emphasizes the potential of Latin America as a viable source of international travellers.
Copa’s soon-to-be added flights will depart McCarran International Airport’s terminal 3 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:33 p.m., arriving in Panama City the next day at 8:00a.m. The return departs Panama at 6:40 p.m., arriving in Las Vegas at 10:46 p.m.
Copa will use 144-seat Boeing 737-800 jets for the flight.
