bmi regional, which is a regional airline of the United Kingdom, has announced that it will launch new flights from Bristol to Hamburg. The UK’s most punctual airline has welcomed a delegation of business leaders from across south west and south Wales.
Thousands of bookings have been made so far since the route was announced earlier this year. The significant interest emphasizes the demand for the service and strengthens the airline’s position at Bristol with the launch of other non-stop services to Aberdeen and Frankfurt.
Cathal O’Connell, bmi regional’s chief executive officer stated, “As an organization, we’re committed to develop markets in those areas where our customers look forward to travel.”
Bmi regional will transport the guests so that they can meet their counterparts in the German city of Hamburg to discuss reinforcement of business and tourism links between the two cities.
The airline will be operating five-days-a-week flights between Bristol and Hamburg by a jet. It will then increase the flights to 12 per week with effect from 8th April, 2013.
