Panama-based flag carrier Copa Airlines with the launch of a new flight from Panama has considered the addition of Liberia, which is in the Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province to its comprehensive list of destinations.
The prime reason why the airline chose to launch new route to its destination is because there has been a steep rise in the growing popularity of Guanacaste as several people choose to take up a vacation in this region.
The new addition of Liberia is the airlines’ second destination in Costa Rica that was added to the company’s flights to San Jose that began its operations way back in 1967.
With the addition of new route, the Guanacaste province is very well linked with 64 destinations in 29 nations in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean as well. This would be a major advantage as the airlines’ primary hub is located in Panama.
“With the influx of thousands of tourists and business travellers flying from the Caribbean, Central and South America to the province of Guanacaste will up lift Costa Rica”, said Pedro Heilbron, Chief Executive of Copa Airlines.
