Royal Dutch Airlines, KLM is on the edge of operating flights to Amsterdam so that it can link with the rest of its network. Chief Executive Officer at Manston, Charles Buchanan commented that the Amsterdam-based airline perhaps wants to operate early morning and late night flights.
The airline has broadcasted that it is in talks with the owners of Manston Infratil whether there can be a possibility to launch daily flights to Schiphol, which is one of the Europe’s busiest airports.
Mr Buchanan said, “If the airline decides to launch flights from Manston, it would indicate that the residents of Kent would acquire an easy access to sunlit destinations right through the year.
He further added, “Manston is a great stress-free alternative to the London airports. We have very economical car parking charges and the passengers can step on the plane within minutes of arriving at the airport due to fast check-in.”
