Kenya Airways the flag carrier of Kenya is planning to launch direct flights to Guangzhou in China in November. The airline is launching these flights to reap benefits from the growing Sino-African relations.
The airline will start these flights between the Kenyan capital Nairobi and Guangzhou on Nov. 19, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
China is one of the important trading partners for Africa and hence addition of direct flights to Guangzhou will capitalize on this connection.
Recently, Kenya Airways signed an agreement with China Eastern Airlines to enable the KQ code share for flights between Bangkok and Shanghai. As a part of this deal China Eastern Airlines will code share with daily Kenya Airways service on Bangkok-Nairobi route.
