Last week KLM Royal Dutch Airline launched flights to three new destinations from its hub at Amsterdam Schiphol, offering further convenience and great value travel options to its passengers. The new route include twice daily flights from Manston Airport in Kent, a service from Amsterdam to Fukuoka, which is Dutch airlines third Japanese destination, and to Ã…lesund in Norway.

To make this event special, eminent guests were invited to celebrate the inaugural KLM flight services from Manston Airport to Amsterdam Schipol on Tuesday 2nd April 2013. The new service is the only scheduled passenger flight from the Kentish Airport, which offer travelers in the South East an alternative to avoid the congestion of Heathrow and Gatwick.
With Manston, KLM now offers the convenience of 16 airports in the UK and through the hub of Schipol can offer UK passengers 190 worldwide destinations. The Manston to Amsterdam service operates twice a day, every day of the week on a Fokker 70.
KLM services for Fukuoka, Japan
On 3rd April 21013, KLM become the first European airline to offer direct flights to Fukuoka in Japanese province of Kyushu. The Dutch airlines will fly three times a week from Amsterdam to Fukuoka which is now become third city which is served by KLM. With this new route there will be an increase in number of direct KLM flights from Amsterdam to Japan to 21 a week for 2013 summer season.
