Royal Jordanian, the flag carriers of Jordan, has inaugurated a new route to Iraq. The airline inaugurated flight to Mosul, on November 12, 2013.
In the beginning, the airline will be offering twice weekly flights to Mosul on Tuesdays and on Saturdays increasing the number of flights between Jordan and Iraq to 28 a week.
The airline is already operating 9 weekly flights to each of Baghdad and Erbil and four weekly flights to each of Basra and Sulaymaniyah.
With the launch of flights between Amman and Mosul, Royal Jordanian is looking to strengthen its presence in the Iraqi market, providing more options to passenger travelling between these destinations.
The launch of flights will benefit businessmen, students and Jordanian and Iraqi citizens who wish to fly between these destinations.
According to the schedule, the flights will depart Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), Amman at 6:15 and reach Mosul at 8:05. On the return journey, the flights will depart Mosul at 8:50 to reach Amman at 10:
