Dubai-based low-cost airline, flydubai has broadcasted that it would start its operations to the Saudi Arabian city of Tabuk. The flight services would commence with effect from 7th November, 2012.
Due to the increase in the number of visitors and a number of prime infrastructure projects in progress in the city that also include upgrade to Tabuk Airport, global travel trade companies are making their way to the city so that it can boost its tourism industry.
Flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith commented, “We are extremely grateful to the Saudi authorities for helping us connect the city to those destinations that are underserved in the Kingdom.”
The airline already has its flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Dammam, Gassim, Taif and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia. It has a simple model where the customers are required to pay for those services they wish to receive.
