Xiamen Airlines is set to introduce three new air routes to Southeast Asia, from 31st March this year. The airline has planned to introduce new flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur as per this initiative.
The airline has also announced the three new routes that include Dalian-Xiamen-Singapore, Dalian-Xiamen-Kuala Lumpur and Tianjin-Fuzhou-Kuala Lumpur.
The Dalian-Xiamen-Singapore flights (flight number MF873/4) and the Tianjin-Fuzhou-Kuala Lumpur flights (flight number MF853/4) will be operational on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The Dalian-Xiamen-Kuala Lumpur flights (flight number MF875/6) will run every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
In addition to this, Xiamen Airlines plans to begin direct flights between Fujian and Indonesia’s capital Jakarta this summer.
Xiamen Airlines, China’s 4th fourth largest carrier in terms of domestic and system seats, entered the SkyTeam alliance in November 2012. The airline is planning to boost its scale over the next five years, and increasing its annual revenues to RMB30.
