Wow Air, a low-cost airline based in Iceland is moving into the transatlantic market with the launch of London Gatwick-Reykjavik-Boston services in spring. The Icelandic carrier will fly to Boston from London Gatwick via Reykjavik six times a week, every day except for Saturday.
Flights from Gatwick will depart at 1220, to arrive in Boston at 1825, while return flights from Boston will depart at 2010 and arrive in London the next day at 1050. The new route will mark the beginning of Wow network’s first venture to the US and will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.
According to Skuli Mogensen, founder and CEO of Wow Air, flights to Boston mark a significant milestone for Wow Air and show the continued growth of company since its inception in 2011 and the airline is looking forward to connecting the land of fire and ice with the land of opportunity.
