Doha-based Qatar Airways, which is the flag carrier of Qatar, would be launching scheduled flights to Poland by the year end.
The flight services to the Polish capital of Warsaw will commence from 5th December, 2012 and the route will be a part of swiftly growing European network that would operate flights four-times-a-week.
The Warsaw route would be operated from the Qatar Airways’ main hub located at Doha with an Airbus 320 which will be configured in two classes.
Qatar Airways’ Chief Executive Officer, Akbar Al Baker said, “The addition of Poland displays the airline’s commitment to serve the area that is largely under-served. We are taking to the air today with a worldwide network across 118 destinations with almost 25% of our route structure in the European continent”.
