Emirates, which is one of the most acclaimed airlines in the world, has given a boost by introducing three extra flights to Dhaka per week. The airline is looking ahead to further establish its presence its Bangladesh by adding the extra flights to the capital.
The three extra flight services would bring the Dubai-based airliner’s flights up to 17 from Dubai to Dhaka.
Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations West Asia, Indian Ocean and Africa said, “The extra flights will help give a lift to the trade between the two nations which currently stands at $300 million.
The added flights will also offer outstanding connections to New York and London, which are home to rapidly increasing overseas population of Bangladesh. Moreover, Bangladeshi businessmen will absolutely derive benefit from additional capacity to the UAE and suitable connections to Karachi, Maldives and Mauritius, he further added.”
