easyJet announces flights to its newest destination from London Southend Airport to the popular island of Tenerife, the largest and most populous island of seven Canary Islands in Spain , which are on sale from 24th September 2013. With direct flights it takes just four hours to reach stunning beaches and guaranteed sunshine of Tenerife from London Southend Airport for as little as £33.49 one way including taxes.
The inaugural flight takes off on 13th December and over 11,000 passengers per year are expected to take advantage of the new weekly services each Tuesday and Friday between the South East’s newest Airport and Tenerife, one of the youngest of Canary Islands.
According to Hugh Aitken, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, It is a delightful occasion for easyJet on the launch of 16th destination from London Southend to Tenerife and it is going to be a big hit with customers from Southend and the wider region. It has doubled the number of easy and affordable destinations available from London Southend since the launch of airport in April 2012 for everyone whether travelling on business of for leisure throughout the year.
