Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar has announced that it will enhance the frequency of services for flights to Perth from its hub. The airline is expected to launch the scheduled services to the West Australian city of Perth with effect from 1st December, 2012.
The airline’s UK & Ireland Country Manager, Richard Oliver commented that the daily flight scheduled to take to the air from the main hub at Doha to Perth confirms the success of the initial launch in July and displays Qatar Airways’ drive to connect with the rest of the world.
Flights with Qatar Airways operate three times a week from London Heathrow and Manchester to the Australian city. The new flight that is scheduled to take off on a daily basis follows the successful launch of the services that are operated thrice a week earlier this year.
He added, “An ever-growing popular destination for leisure and business passengers, the Australian city of Perth offers expansive beaches and top-notch wineries. The city is a crucial business destination for the mining and agricultural industries.”
