Tokyo-based All Nippon Airways (ANA) has broadcasted that it will introduce flights between Mineta San Jose International Airport and Narita International Airport. The route would be launched on 11th January, 2013.
The airline would be launching five flights to Tokyo per week except Tuesdays and Thursdays. The flight will take to the air from San Jose at 11:45 a.m. and will touch down in Tokyo at 5:35 p.m. The flight would be operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Aviation Director Bill Sherry said, “This is a crucial changer for the airport and we’re confident that it would open the door for more flights to serve Silicon Valley.”
Passengers can commence the booking of their flights on 30th August, 2012. The route to the Japanese city proves to be very important for many companies located in the Silicon Valley so that the city and business leaders lobbied ANA to add a direct flight.
