Etihad Airways, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates is eager to strengthen its network in the United States of America.
James Hogan, President and Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Airways revealed that the US particularly is among the highest performing regions across the Abu Dhabi’s based worldwide network. Etihad Airways will introduce its direct flights to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The airline is to launch its third US route on 31st March, 2013 and it will be operated by a three-class Airbus A340 airliner.
New York and Chicago are the current routes on which a significant chunk of premium bookings are for travel to and from the UAE capital.
Mr. Hogan commented that especially with increasing ties between the two nations, both government and private sector, we foresee a demand for first-class services between the American capital and Abu Dhabi.
