The Doha-based carrier Qatar Airways has once again faced the conquest at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards. It has been named as the best airline in the world and has outshone other airlines when it came to winning three accolades.
Qatar Airways has been honoured with the main award of World’s Best Airline for the second year in a row as reported by Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The airline also retained the desirable title of Airline of the Year 2012 and grabbed two more awards, which were Best Airline in the Middle East for the 7th consecutive year and the Best Airline Staff Service award in the Middle East.
Qatar Airways’ CEO Akbar Al Baker regarded as the achievements as “excellent recognition” of all employees at Qatar Airways for their dedication and commitment to their job.
“I take a deep sense of pride and am exceptionally delighted for the respect that has been given once again by those passengers who choose our airline to fly, for their faith and support.
