Proflight Zambia, one of the leading airlines of Zambia, has announced to launch three weekly flights to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania starting on October 23.
With the launch of flights on Lusaka - Dar es Salaam route the passengers flying on this network would have more options.
This is the second route for the Zambian airline, which is already flying to Lilongwe in Malawi from June.
The airline is making efforts to make a regional aviation hub by providing easy and convenient connections from its nine domestic destinations to cities throughout Southern Africa and addition of flights to Dar es Salaam is a part of this effort.
As per schedule, the flights will leave Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 0800 hours on Mondays and Fridays, arriving at Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport at 1220 hours.
On the return journey, the flights will depart Dar es Salaam on the same days at 1300 hours, arriving in Lusaka at 1520 hours.
The airline is also planning a Wednesday flight, for which confirmation is awaited.
