Flydubai has broadcasted that it will launch flights to Malé, which is the capital of the Republic of Maldives. The airline will operate flights to a Maldivian capital five times a week between Dubai’s Terminal 2 and the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport which is located on the island of Malé.The flights are scheduled to commence on 19th January, 2013.
The new route will allow travellers to take delight in the reasonable fares to a destination that is known the world over.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer commented, “We are very delighted about adding Malé to our network. We’re making this island paradise more reachable to travellers across our network being the first low-cost carrier from the UAE to fly to the Asian country.”
He further stated, “The route will be our first launch in 2013 and we look forward to greeting passengers to this fantastic nation.
