El Al Israel Airlines has planned to double the number of flights to London starting April 1. Israel’s flag carrier is adding more flights as Israel’s Open Skies aviation agreement with the European Union has given a boost to tourism.
El Al Israel Airlines has said that the airline will be operating five flights a week on most days or a total 27 a week from April 1. Currently the airline is flying 15 flights a week from Tel Aviv to London.
As London is an evergreen business and tourism destinations the passengers demand on this route is very high.
The airline won’t make any change to the number of flights to London Heathrow as it will remain 11. However the airline will increase the number of flights to Luton, a secondary airport in London from 4 to 12. The airlines have plans to operate more flights during the peak season in July and August.
