Egyptair, the flag carrier of Egypt, has announced to reinstate its service from London Heathrow to Luxor International. The airline will commence a weekly Monday flight on this route on 17 February 2014.
The decision of resumption of flight was taken due to a significant increase in demand by tourists and Egyptian nationals.
As Luxor is just under five and a half hours from the UK, resumption of the direct flight to Luxor meets the demand of the UK based travellers for cultural, historical and adventure-based holidays.
With the launch of the flights the national carrier of the Egypt will be offering easy access of Egypt to the UK based travellers.
The airline will serve this route with a state of the art aircraft with 24 business and 120 economy class seats offering individual seatback in-flight entertainment.
Once served as capital of Ancient Egypt Luxor attracts tourists with the world's ‘greatest open-air museum’ and other attractions.
