Copa Airlines, the flag carrier of Panama is all set to make flights to Fort Lauderdale its newest U.S. destination under its growth plan. The airline will begin nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale four times a week from Panama which starts from 11th July. The airline will fly a Boeing 737-700 on this route with 12 business class seats and 112 economy seats.
Copa flight 226 will depart Fort Lauderdale on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm, arriving at Tocumen International Airport at 8:03 p.m. Flight 265 will depart Panama at 11:46 a. m. the same days of the week, arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 4p.m.
Copa Airlines also offer flights to Miami, Orlando and Tampa. The new route will be its tenth destination in the U.S. According Joe Mohan, VP of Commercial and Planning, Copa’s new nonstop flights to Panama will provide increased connectivity for Fort Lauderdale and Broward Country area residents to leisure and business destinations in Latin America. On-board services offered by Copa include complimentary meals and beverages, 12-channel audio-visual entertainment system in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with new movies monthly and complimentary headsets.
