Cebu Pacific, the low-cost Philippine airline said that it will continue to operate its flights to and from Bangkok, Thailand, despite the declaration of 60-day state of emergency in the country. In an e-mailed statement, Cebu Pacific said that it is continuing its operations as long as the Suvarnabhumi Airport is operational.
The budget carrier is also offering passengers booked to and from Bangkok between 21st January and 15th February 2014 who wish to change their travel plans have the option to rebook their flights free of charge within 30 days from original departure date. They may also choose to request for a full travel fund.
The airline said flights will continue as the Suvarnabhumi Airport remains operational, but added that it is closely monitoring developments and will provide flight updates as needed.
