British Airways, one of the leading airlines in the world is all set to increase the number of flights to Ghana by three a week from October 27, 2013.
The airline will operate these services using Boeing 767s to complement the existing Boeing 777 flights. With the launch of new services the number of weekly services on this route will be increased to 10.
The airline has said that from summer 2014, the airline will use a larger four-cabin Boeing 747 aircraft to replace one of the Boeing 777s’ currently flying between these destinations. The airline is also expecting to add a fourth weekly flight to Sierra Leone and Liberia.
In East Africa, it would increase frequency to Uganda to offer four weekly flights.
The airline has already boosted its services to North Africa by launching fourth weekly flight to Tripoli.
This leading air carrier will increase the number of flights to Cape Town from the current daily services to double-daily services during the busy South African summer season. British Airways is the only air carrier which offers direct flights from London to Cape Town round the year.
