Air Lituanica, a newly founded Lithuanian airline, has started flights to the Dutch capital Amsterdam. The airline is offering convenient direct flights to passengers travelling to European cities for leisure and business and purposes.
Air Lituanica started its first flight to Brussels on June 30. On July 8, 2013 the Schiphol airport in Amsterdam welcomed the first Air Lituanica flight from Vilnius with the customary red tulips.
The new route focuses at business and leisure travellers seeking to explore one of the most stunning and liberal capitals of Europe. The route will also cater to passengers who are searching convenient connecting flights to various destinations in the world.
The airline, in cooperation with the Royal Dutch Airlines KLM, now offers flights to almost 100 destinations. The first flight is a clear indication that Amsterdam route will be highly appreciated by leisure and business tourists.
Air Lituanica will fly to Amsterdam every day and the flights to Amsterdam will be operated with a 76-seater Embraer 170. The flights will depart from Vilnius airport early in the morning (6:25 am) and return to Vilnius from Amsterdam at 10 am every day.
