British Airways, one of the leading airlines of the world has introduced flights to Venice from London six times a week. The leisure route from London City Airport would be operated throughout the year. The airline decided to launch this new route after the successful operation of various holiday destinations such as Palma, Ibiza and Malaga.
Luke Hayhoe, General Manager Commercial for British Airways at London City said, “We are very thrilled about the new route launched to the Italian city of Venice, which is a popular winter and summer route.
He further added, “This is truly what the customers have been looking forward to, right through the year short break destinations that are only a couple of hours away from London.”
British Airways takes to the air to 23 destinations from the east London airport.
