Malaysia Airlines, which is the flag-carrier of Malaysia, has announced that it will launch daily flights from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur twice a week a month from now.
The flights would be operated with effect from 24th November, 2012 and would be a return route.
The Malaysian airline became the eighth airline to operate its flights with the largest passenger jet on the planet as the Airbus A380 took off from Heathrow Airport to the Malaysian capital. The double daily service will be launched after the airline receives two A380s by this month end.
Malaysia Airlines’ CEO, Encik Ahmad Jauhari commented, “Ever since we began our A380 operations on the Kuala Lumpur-London route from 1st July, 2012, we have been an overwhelming response from the customers who had a privilege to fly with our airline.”
