In a bid to serve people working in Saudi Arabia, Air Cairo will launch new flights to Riyadh. The new flights will be operational from Alexandria and Assiut.
Yasser al-Ramly, the head of Air Cairo said that the success of direct flights from Alexandria, Assiut and Sohag to Jeddah and Kuwait City encouraged Air Cairo to commence seven flights from Alexandria and Assiut to Riyadh. He also said that airline is planning to strengthen its network in gulf.
After new flights to Riyadh become operational, the airline will be operating 45 weekly regular flights to gulf.
According to Fathy Atteya, the commercial director of the airline, Air Cairo will operate flights on Riyadh- Alexandria route on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The arrival and departure times will be decided keeping in view the customers of Alexandria and Delta.
The airline will operate two weekly flights on Saturdays and Tuesdays Assiut-Riyadh route to caters to the customers of upper Egypt.
