Worried for kid’s safety in the Playground? Rubber Flooring is the solution!

In the recent years, the trend around the world is continually changing as the life has become more challenging. The competition to survive in the society has made life op people busier than it was before and they have to work much harder to earn their livelihood. Due to the busy schedule, it has become difficult for the parent to entertain their children’s and to take them out in the parks for a picnic so they can enjoy themselves. But, being parents it is also their duty to keep a balance between job and their personal life and to take out time for their children and family as it is important to refresh the minds. It also provides the children’s opportunity to learn from the society and socialize them and make friends which can be helpful in their future life.

Numbers of accidents are increasing

In the modern age, playground areas are not only restricted in the parks but playgrounds have been formed in the schools, shopping centers and  restaurants as well to attract the attention of children’s and entertain them. With the introduction of modern playground equipment several dangerous swings and rides are also introduced to provide thrills for children’s. They find it challenging and more entertaining to take those rides and swings regardless of the fact that they are dangerous for them and can cause severe injuries to them. This is one of the main reasons that the number of falling cases and severity of injuries is increasing rapidly.

The Role of parent’s to ensure safety!  

           

In the past few years, according to a research, the number of incidents of children’s falling from rides and swings are increasing rapidly. These accidents can cause injuries which can also lead to death. So, in this scenario it is the duty of parents to keep an eye on their children’s when they are playing in the playgrounds. The children’s should not be allowed to take such dangerous swings and rides, even if the parents have to force their children’s they must not hesitate to do so. The safety manager’s must ensure that playgrounds are completely secure and playing equipment must be assessed before letting children use them. Playground managers must introduce Rubber flooring for the kid’s safety in play areas. So that even if the children’s fall down, they are not injured because rubber flooring consists of shock absorbing material which is especially designed to prevent head injuries.

It is better to use Rubber flooring in the entire playground but if it is not possible, at least, rubber flooring must be installed in those areas where the probability of falling is higher. Rubber flooring should be considered essential in the playground areas and the Government should not allow any park, school or fast food restaurant to have playgrounds without rubber flooring. It might cause an increase in cost of playground equipment but no risk can be taken as nothing is more precious than the health of kid’s. Those parks, schools and restaurants who fail to install rubber flooring, should be banned and their licenses must be cancelled as they are dangerous for the children’s safety. Legal charges should be taken against those parks, schools and restaurants.
