Sydney has been transformed into a big colorful canvas of light with the launch of Vivid Festival which is the largest celebration of light music and ideas in Southern Hemisphere. More than 60 light installations were illuminated to mark the start of festival. Thousands lined the edge of Sydney Harbour to watch the first showing of “Lighting of Sails” of the Sydney Opera House and the beautiful, meandering journey around the harbour for much loved Light Walk. This year the Light Walk includes the exciting new precincts such as Darling Harbour, the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge along with Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay, the Rocks and Walsh Bay.
