As a part of its expansion strategy, TigerAir Philippines is planning to launch flights to Japan, China, and South Korea. The airline has plans to launch flights to Japan in March 2014 with services to Narita and Kansai.
The airline will also offer flights to Shenzen and Macau in China. The airline has revealed its plans to launch direct flights between Shenzen and Kalibo in November. TigerAir Philippines is also contemplating flights to South Korea.
Previously the airline has begun twice weekly direct flights between Manila and Phuket.
To serve its increasing network efficiently TigerAir Philippines is also increasing its fleet size with a target to take the number of aircrafts to 25 in coming three years.
Currently the airline has two primary hubs at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4 and Clark International Airport.
