Vueling a leading Spanish Airlines has today launched new winter services from Cardiff Airport following a positive response from Welsh passengers. The additional flights to Malaga and Alicante from Cardiff will operate on Tuesday and Saturdays, extending the summer schedule. Flights are on sale from Thursday 23rd May 2013 and prices start at 39, 99euros.
According to Javier Suarez, Vueling’s Routes Manager, Vueling is operating from Cardiff Airport for two years and has shown good results for both the parts. The main goal of airlines is to keep on working to deliver quality service to both the leisure and business passengers from Wales. In the words of Jon Horne, Chief Executive at Cardiff Airport, The people of Wales want year round services and with existing potential the airlines ensure that this demand is met from Cardiff Airport and offer more choice for Welsh passengers from their airport.
During summers 2013 Vueling is operating flights to Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Palma Majorca from Cardiff.
Flights to Alicante and Malaga operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Wednesday flights to Malaga are available during the months of August and September. Flights to Barcelona will operate on Fridays and Sundays offering connections to cruise departing from Barcelona and the direct flights from Cardiff to Palma Majorca will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday commencing on 20th June 2013.
