Singapore Airlines has agreed that it will launch a fourth daily flight between Singapore and London Heathrow from October, which will provide boosted travel options to our passengers.
At present, Singapore Airlines operates three flights every day between Singapore and London Heathrow, all with A380s. The flight to be launched will be operated by with a Boeing 777-300, which would feature the Airline’s latest cabin products. The added flight will have a late-night departure from Singapore.
An increase in frequency would be seen that will be carried out gradually. The number of flights per week would be increased from 21 to 25 in the starting week of 9th September 2012. Singapore Airlines would witness the total flights of 28 flights per week with effect from the week starting 21st October.
“We have been seeking opportunities to give a lift in a number of London flights for many years and are pleased that we can grab the opportunity to do so, to offer even more travel options to our customers,” said Mak Swee Wah, Singapore Airlines’ executive vice president commercial.
