Hainan Airlines became the second airline to serve Sea-Tac Airport with Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The inaugural Dreamliner flight, arrived on-time on Friday Sea-Tac Airport, was welcomed with traditional sprays of water from a pair of airport fire trucks.
The passenger gathered for the return flight to Beijing joined the celebration with airline executives. Previously the airline was serving this route with Airbus 330.
With the launch of Boeing Dreamliner flight by Hainan Airline the Sea-Tac has become the only airport, at least on the West Coast, to be served by Boeing Dreamliner service from two different airlines. Previously All Nippon launched service in 2012.
Now, the passengers on Beijing – Seattle route will enjoy quieter interior, larger windows, higher humidity levels and lower altitude pressurization while flying on this route.
