Flybe, which is the largest regional airline of Europe, has announced that it would be launching flights from Birmingham to Amsterdam. The new route would offer up to three returns flights a day to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The airline will commence offering its flight services to the Dutch capital starting from October this year. The new service that would be operated right through the year would benefit the customers flying on a business or leisure purpose.
Flybe UK Managing Director, Andrew Strong said, “The airline is committed to growing its route network out of Birmingham and we are firm that the new service will prove to be successful when it comes to offering an economical and attractive way for travellers to gain an access to the Dutch hub.”
Birmingham Airport’s Commercial Director, Martyn Lloyd said, “The Netherland’s capital is surely a crucial route for both business and leisure travellers and it was the third busiest destination from Birmingham last year.”
