The largest airline of the United Kingdom, EasyJet has announced that it would launch six new routes from the Edinburgh Airport. The airline has decided to introduce flights to six locations as it is planning to expand its base.
The airline will add flights from Edinburgh to Berlin and five other locations which are Hamburg, Prague, Copenhagen and Dubrovnik. The company had announced another new route to Reykjavik in Iceland last week.
With the addition of these routes, the company claims to create around 160 new jobs along with an estimated 500 indirect jobs in Scotland.
