Passengers travelling on London-Tel Aviv route have a reason to cheer as low cost European carrier easyJet is adding more weekly flights to Tel Aviv. With new addition the number of flights from London to Tel Aviv will increase to 11 from present 9.
The airline has also announced that Tel Aviv-Manchester route will soon be operational year round.
According to reports, the airline commenced Luton-Tel Aviv route in 2009 and due to increasing popularity the number of weekly flights were increased to nine from previous seven. Easyjet also has four weekly flights on Tel Aviv -Geneva route and same number of flights on Tel Aviv- Basel route. However the airlines started flying on Tel Aviv-Manchester route last November.”
EasyJet’s UK and Israel commercial manager Hugh Aitken asserted that easyJet is strategic partner of the Israeli tourism industry and airline is happy to bring more tourists to Israel. He also revealed airlines aspiration to connect Tel Aviv with more European destinations after Open Sky agreement comes into effect.
