The ultra-modern Terminal Check-in 3 has welcomed Austrian flight OS 9542 that touched down the grounds of Vienna Airport from Hurghada carrying 62 passengers aboard at 4:33a.m.
The opening of Terminal Check-in 3 was much awaited and the inauguration of the newly launched terminal executed the completion of the largest construction project ever accomplished at Vienna International Airport.
“This is a milestone in Austrian air transport,” said Austrian CEO Jaan Albrecht. He further stated “Its minimum transfer time of 25 minutes along with its new and contemporary image have returned Vienna Airport in becoming a competitive hub in Europe.”
The newly opened Star Alliance Terminal has a workforce of 690 Austrian employees who guarantee a pleasurable flying experience.
