United Airlines, which is the largest U.S. airline has broadcasted its plan to start its flight operations to 10 new cities so that it can strengthen its domestic and international presence.
The airline said that it will be commencing flights where there is an opportunity to come across rising customer demand. The airline also stated that it wants to fly profitably and wants to be a leader from one of its hubs.
United Airlines looks forward to add daily flights to Taiwan and Paris from San Francisco in April 2013. This will give a boost to the airline’s presence at the hub in San Francisco, where it currently operates more than 300 flights.
All the new flights that would be operated by the airline are waiting to be approved by the government.
In addition, United Continental Holdings Inc. is also looking ahead to boost its hub at Chicago O’Hare International Airport by launching more flights to United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
