With effect from 31st October, one of the leading airlines in the world, Qatar Airways has broadcasted that it would further expand its African operations by launching flights to Mozambique.
Maputo, which is the capital of Mozambique, will see three flights operating from the airlines’ prime hub of Doha via Johannesburg becoming the 20th African destination that would proudly served by the acclaimed and award-winning airline.
Located in southern Africa, Maputo is the previous colony established by the Portuguese is on the verge of becoming the airline’s fourth new route across the vast African continent which would be launched in 2012.
The airline will be commencing its daily operations to Kilimanjaro, which is second Tanzanian gateway of the airlines on 25th July.
Qatar Airways chief executive Al Baker said, “This year really proves to be an adventurous one for Qatar Airways as it has introduced four new routes on the African continent of varied landscapes, people, cultures and natural attractions.”
