Korean Air has announced the launch of nonstop flight service to Houston from Seoul from 2nd May. The carrier will use Boeing 777-200 jets for its four weekly flights to Houston Bush Intercontinental from Incheon International Airport near Seoul. In the words of John Jackson, Korean Air’s VP of marketing for North and South America, Houston is the fifth largest metro area in the U.S and it will become Korean Air’s 11th U.S. destination and second in Texas.
The airline’s other destinations in U.S include Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington Dulles
He further added that the airline is continued to see opportunities in the America through its own efforts and through its membership in the SkyTeam alliance. The airline will add more capacity in a variety of other U.S markets during the upcoming spring and summer season as well.
