Belavia, the flag carrier of Belarus, is all set to launch flights to Geneva from 17th December 2013.
The airline will operate flights on Minsk- Geneva (Switzerland) route using Embraer 175, CRJ-100/200, and Boeing 737-500 three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. With this announcement, the airline has also announced Tickets for economy class and business class for a round trip and one-way trip
The airline is focussing on business class travellers on this route because of Geneva’s importance as a business destination in Europe. The city is home to a large number of companies and organizations with which Belarus has business relation. And direct air connectivity to this destination will only strengthen the business ties.
Apart from the business travellers, the airline will be of great help for leisure travellers who visit this popular tourist destination. The winter flights to Geneva will be especially attractive for ski and snowboard lovers. As the Geneva airport almost stands at the border with France the flights are expected to serve the travellers who want to combine their Geneva tours with a visit to France.
